The chicks have decided that their bedding is more appetizing than their food. Yummy shavings. So I have a couple of chicks who are showing major vitamin deficiencies YAY!!!!! NOT. 
Our splash rooster some how has managed to fit himself and two of our black hens in one nesting box. 
The first hatch is out of a great friends incubator today 27 little buff fluff balls 
Went and bought a lovely pair of hens from a extremely nice lady out in Salmon Arm. I am so happy that these girls are not related to mine.
Trying out some home made hen saddles as the girls are starting to look a little rough.  |
