Welcome to Riverbend Heritage Poultry. We are dedicated to raising quality Orpingtons for everyone to enjoy. Our small acreage is located just out side of Kelowna, BC in the wonderful Okanagan Valley.  My obsession started with wanting a few pretty hens that would lay well all year, could handle the chilly winters and hot summers here in the Okanagan Valley. As all of our animals are an extension of our family, a good temperament is a must. Since those original four hens we have added more buffs, some blue/black/splash and a handful of unrelated blacks to diversify the lines. There is a possibility that come summer 2015 we will have a few fun colors available also..... Stay tuned.
