This year we are having a super mild winter so I let all of the flocks out into the big run for some fun time.

Today I noticed that one of our roosters has a case of frostbite the poor boy, he has moved into the basement for treatment and hopefully he will recover quickly.
The first egg of the September hatch has pipped YAY!!!!! Three More to come hopefully all will hatch.
Does the crazy never end the little chick from the crushed egg was joined today by its sibling, that is a little directionally challenged (your supposed to come out the other end of the egg silly). After about ten hours of it doing nothing while under the hen, I brought it into the house (so totally loving the Brinsea Octagon 20 that we just got) for some help.
The egg was only a few days off it's hatch date so....... I am never one to give up and into the incubator went the crushed egg. This is what we woke up to this morning.
