These two pullets refuse to use any nest box but their favorite even when it is in use.

Today we welcome two new members to our flock.

Our first Orpington chicks of 2015 so cute there are three buffs and three gold laced crossed to buff chicks. the crosses are from one of my favorite hens Gerdie who survived all of those wicked wounds she had.

All six chicks have hatched now, four are in the brooder the other two are just finishing fluffing up in the incubator. I am extremely happy with this hatch these little guys survived a humidity pump death two power outages and a few other challenges.
