The sick pullet is much better and will be going outside again today.

   We have had so much rain and cool weather in the last two weeks. Saturday morning one of the pullets was not looking the best, sitting in the house all fluffed up and grumpy (watch out she bites). We thought she was just tired of the rain and ick like the rest of us... boy were we wrong.
   Sunday morning I went out to do some chores and she looked worse, only now there was no grump only a listless and very sick chicken. Into the house to warm up she went, the spare bedroom is the sick critter room be it dog, cat, foal or chicken. We gave her tepid water with electrolytes and vitamins to hopefully help and it did. 
   Today she seems much better but to be safe we will be keeping her inside for a week or so.
